The “Coppiette” represent an historical product of Lazio, with centuries-old traditions, that was common as a tavern meal and as worker lunch for the rapid consumption. In Roman taverns, the coppiette were useful (innkeepers) to increase the thirst of diners and the consumption of wine. The name comes from the custom of selling them in pairs.
